How Ann Trains
As you probably know, with private lessons, we are training you to train the dog. We will teach you positive reinforcement techniques to help your dog understand how to work within a human environment and you how to understand your dog.
What Ann Trains
This will depend on what is important to you, but we will guide you along the way. Some of the most common desires like a dog that doesn’t jump up might require some foundation skills to get to the end result, but we will also target training for those things you want. Most common areas of training requests are:
- Walking on leash
- Come when called
- Relaxing at home
- Not jumping up or calm greetings
New Puppy Zoom Calls
I offer Zoom calls for those planning to get a puppy or if you have a new puppy home. These workshops will give you a leg up on the things you need to consider when adding a new puppy to the home.
Private Packages
Private training packages can offer the one-on-one help you need to work on the more important areas you would like to focus on for developing a great relationship with your new family member.
Consultations
Consultations offer an opportunity to address a specific concern and come up with a training plan or to evaluate the best steps for you to take for you and your pup.
Pricing
All pricing is for meeting in central locations near Novato or Northern San Rafael. For in home sessions or longer travel, travel fees will be assessed.

- Consultations – $125/75 minutes
- Training Package – $300 for three 60-minute lessons.
