A new puppy in the home is exciting and also requires practically full-time attention. Puppy Kinder Care & Training is perfect for working folks or stay at home parents that want their puppy to have a special experience will they are busy with their lives. For puppies ages 8 weeks to 4 months, this amazing program reduces your anxiety while providing all the training and socializing needed for your new puppy.
How it Works
Your puppy will join us in our home during the day while returning to your home afterwards tired and happy. During the day, your puppy will be in a safe, enriching, and fun environment to learn and practice core concepts to grow into the best companion possible. This perfect blend ensures your puppy is getting lots of attention while you are not available. Each night, you will reconnect, practice skills, and build the lasting bonds that turn your puppy into your best friend.
Puppies are sponges which require constant attention when they are awake. They are either learning a skill, practicing a skill, or doing supervised exploration. We are here to focus on your puppy at this critical stage. We use positive reinforcement and work with puppies to make their own best choices. When we are not actively training or working with your pup, they are being managed to avoid practicing natural behaviors that will develop into traits that.
A Sample Day
- Arrive and practice skills for calm greetings.
- Training sessions throughout the day. (see skills at bottom of page)
- Adult dog and puppy play
- Mini training sessions throughout the day.
- Nap time
- Socializing via safe outings to take advantage of critical learning periods
- Pickup, happy hand off, and return home to show off their skills.
